“dar el-ilm” School of Languages, founded in 1988 by Maliha Wehbe, is located at The Dubai World Trade Centre, Exhibition Hall 4.

Now in its sixteenth year of business, dar el-ilm offers language courses to business men, housewives and students of all ages and abilities, with the emphasis being on oral skills, supported by listening, reading & writing skills. The continuing success of dar el-ilm is due to the dedication and determination of the management and staff to provide a professional yet highly personal approach. “dar el-ilm” offers courses for every member of the family.

Adult Courses:
Courses are offered in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The duration of each course is fifteen hours held over five weeks. We also offer one-to-one tuition – for the student who is unable to commit to a schedule. We also offer in-house courses.

Children & young adult Courses:
The academic year is divided into three terms and classes are run throughout. Courses are offered in Arabic, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Pre-school children Courses:
Making language learning fun through activity artwork, music & games.

IGCSE/ GCSE/ ‘A’ Level:
We are a University of Cambridge Examination Centre and also provide tuitions for other examining boards such as the Edexcel board.
