Longarone, 14 January 2016 - De Rigo Vision S.p.A., a world leader in the eyewear business, successfully pursues its direct control over distribution in key markets by opening two new branches in the United Arab Emirates and in Germany.

The Italian Group strengthens its presence in the Middle East with its new company De Rigo Vision Middle East, with offices in Dubai, which is the result of the agreement with two long-time retailers in the region - Yateem Optical Group and Hassan Group - whose wholesale business will converge into the Newco. The De Rigo Vision partners control a distribution network of some 150 optical stores which, together with a thousand independent stores already served, will enable them to increase the visibility of De Rigo brands in the Gulf. The Newco De Rigo Vision Middle East will manage the marketing of the Group’s Optical and Sun collections in: the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, as well as Iraq, Jordan and Syria.
