Italferr S.p.A. is an Engineering Company, part of Italian State Railways Group and operates worldwide (Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America), in the field of transport engineering.

The Company is focused on Traditional Railways, High Speed/High Capacity Rail Projects and Metro transport field. The services provided have a strong technological content and its approach is based on a high integrated engineering model.
Italferr S.p.A. is one of the first Company in Italy to be certified as an Inspection Body for design validation, accordance with ISO /IEC 17020 Standard.

Italferr promotes a policy of Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001) and Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001). As a consequence of that, the Company has adopted an Integrated Management System, certificated by SGS - Societé Genèrelle de Surveillance - as an important value for all the customers. Moreover, Italferr has developed a methodology to measure and report, on design basis, the GHG emissions produced during design and work on new transportation infrastructures, according to standard UNI EN ISO 14064-1:2006.
