King Saud University is a well known university within the Gulf countries. Located in Riyadh and it is Saudi Arabia's oldest and premier university. It was founded in 1957 as Riyadh University and was renamed in honor of King Saud in 1982. Today the school has over 60,000 students, around one third are women. It offers a wide array of programs.
