Murdoch University Dubai was established in 2008 as a core branch of Murdoch University which is based in Perth, Western Australia.

The Murdoch Dubai campus is situated at Dubai Knowledge Park and the university is licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
