A recently established College of Engineering at the Qassim University in Burayidah is about 330 Km north of Riyadh. Classes at the College started in September 2003 with the undergraduate coursers in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Since the opening, the College is in the process of implementing its plans with a focus on recruiting staff and providing facilities to its students. A new College building is just completed and the major development of the College is in progress.

The College is growing with over 20 staff members all having their doctorate degrees from famous international universities. They possess a high methodology of teaching leading to the target of forming a modern generation of engineers. The syllabus is based on modern academic programs taught in good-reputed universities.
