QNH is a Qatari company established and wholly owned by the Government of the State of Qatar in accordance with Emiri Decree Number 12 of 21st January 1993. By virtue of this decree and in furtherance of the company’s articles of association, QNH took over all of the assets, and assumed all of the liabilities of a predecessor company, Qatar National Hotels Limited, which was itself incorporated in 1970.

The company’s activities are to establish, own, and manage hotels and tourist related projects. The company provides accommodation, restaurants, conference facilities, catering, & banqueting facilities through its hotels, recreational & sporting outlets.

QNH’s strength in the Qatari hotels and tourist sector is illustrated in particular by its possession of more than 50% of the higher-quality hotels rooms in the country and its ownership of almost all of Qatar’s high-profile leisure facilities.
