Readymix Qatar is a Joint Venture Company, which was established in 1977 in Qatar. The Managing Partner is Lafarge, a worldwide Group with operations in more than 78 countries and is a world leader in building materials. In the Gulf region, Readymix Qatar has associated companies in the U.A.E, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Readymix Qatar also forms part of a group that includes Qatar Quarry, Qatar Precast and CMC.

Readymix Qatar went into production in March 1978 with one batching plant in the Old Airport area of Doha and now in 2012 Readymix Qatar operates twenty one batching plants in twelve different locations, this is complemented with 167 large capacity concrete truck mixers, 33 cement tankers and 36 concrete pumps. Aggregate deliveries are assisted from within the group via CMC’s fleet of 50 high spec and safety compliant tippers.

Since its inception the company has successfully been the supplier to many major projects, Ras Laffan Industrial City, Musheireb Downtown Doha, Education City for Qatar Foundation, Qatar Primary Route North Road package, Al Ruwais Port – Phase II and the Barzan On Shore Project are to name a few current operations with many more in the pipeline.
