In 1958 a Lebanese entrepreneur decided to diversify his line of business, besides his notorious enterprises he expanded his activities and launched "Comptoir Oriental pour le Commerce et la Commission - Antoine KHAWAM" general agent of " l'Urbaine et La Seine ".

A few years later " l'Urbaine et La Seine " merged with two other companies "L'Union" and "La Sequanaise".

"L'Union des Assurances de Paris" was born.

In the eighties and after consolidating C.O.C KHAWAM, the man of vision, beside representing U.A.P decided to establish "Securite Assurance S.A.L.", a local insurance firm having the capacity to ensure all classes of insurance including:

* Life, Health, Personal Accident.
* Fire, Theft, Marine.
* Motor.
* Workmen's Compensation. Third Party Liability
