Formerly operating as Indeset, Sobha Contracting has been executing projects in Dubai, UAE since 1992. Part of its major expansion plans included acquisition of Al Belad Contracting Company LLC (operating since 1986) in 2003. UAE Contracting operations was rechristened as Sobha Contracting LLC in 2005.

Major works executed include Yacht Club at Dubai Marina, IT Plaza at Dubai Silicon Oasis, Industrial warehouses / factories for Multinational companies, various private villas, etc. Its completed interior decoration projects include Sphinx Restaurant and the Pyramids Health Club at the prestigious Wafi Centre. Current ongoing projects in Dubai include the Group’s own commercial and residential projects in the Business Bay and Jumeirah Village apart from projects in Culture Village, International City and Al Marmoom.
