Construction Director

Job description / Role

We are looking for a seasoned Construction Director to take full responsibility for on-site construction delivery of a prestigious waterfront development comprising luxury residential towers and mixed-use facilities.

This role will lead all construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide overall leadership and direction for site construction activities.
* Manage main contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
* Ensure construction works align with approved designs, schedules, and budgets.
* Oversee construction sequencing, logistics, and methodology planning.
* Drive site safety culture and ensure strict HSE compliance.
* Monitor progress against programme and implement recovery strategies where required.
* Coordinate closely with the Technical Director to resolve design and technical challenges.
* Lead site reporting, cost control, and construction risk management.
* Ensure quality assurance and premium finish standards are consistently achieved.
* Represent the project in meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities.

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
* 20+ years’ experience in large-scale construction delivery.
* Strong track record delivering high-rise luxury residential or mixed-use projects.
* Experience managing complex, multi-tower developments.
* Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site logistics.
* Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience on waterfront or basement-heavy projects is an advantage.
* Willingness to relocate to Cyprus for the full project duration.
