Charterhouse is working with an established 5 star hotel in East Africa who is looking to hire a Director of Food & Beverage for the property, a renowned international brand. As Director of F&B you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategy to increase sales, whilst managing all day-to-day operations across food and beverage and the team. You will be very hands on working with your team on the floor.

Your main responsibility will be the full operational direction of the department, managing a team of around 50. You will also be responsible for the revenue generation and cost control across all outlets, balancing this with guest satisfaction. You will be a key team member in the overall business planning of the property and its ongoing development.

Requirements

The successful candidate should currently work as a Director or Assistant Director of F&B within a 5 star property. Experience in a known international brand is a must, preferably within Africa or the Middle East. Due to the scope of the role a preference will be given to French speaking candidates.
