ABOUT THE ROLE

The main purpose of the role is to support the Head of Finance in managing and running the accounting function in Egypt.

- Maintain accurate transaction recording process and GL maintenance.
- Review the reconciliations of payments, verifications, bank statements, and transfers.
- Process payroll for all cities working closely with HR, and resolve vendor disputes.
- Managing cash flow and petty cash reports for all cities.

Reporting

- Process month and end year statements and ensure consistent financial reporting.
- Maintain monthly budgets and performance against targets.
- Processing Monthly journals for Dubai and other cities and help in preparing monthly consolidated financials

Banking

- Manage banking relationships, cash management solutions.
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the local finance team.
- Monitor the workload and prioritize tasks for the team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to improving the lives of people, an insane focus on excellence and customer service, and a strong alignment with our core values: being bold, focused, agile and collaborative. Additional qualifications include:

- Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Good technical proficiency, literacy skills and a competent computer user
- Strong Accountancy experience good analytical skills and good understanding and working knowledge of book keeping
- Experience in financial reporting and month-end, including preparation and posting of journals and updating reconciliations
- A Qualified Accountant and educated to BS/MS level (or equivalent) within a subject relevant to the position and min experience of 12 years in Accounting, Finance and Business Management
