Advisor Solution Architect

Purpose of the job

Responsible for designing the best possible solution that should be aligned with the technical road map and the business requirements. The advisor is accountable for the architecture and design authority across the IT organization. In charge of resolving technology disagreements among different IT teams. Is responsible for auditing and reviewing the IT processes and solutions. Instructs and guides the delivery team towards achieving the IT strategies.

Duties and responsibilities

• Finding the best tech solution among all possible to fulfill the business requirements.
• Ensuring that the solution includes all possible scenarios and handles all requirements.
• Defining features, phases, and solution requirements.
• Defining solution impacted platforms, cost, and expected development duration.
• Providing a solution document describing the solution defined, managed, and delivered, including any limitations or assumptions that should be clear to all stakeholders.

Job specification

Education:

• Bachelor degree in engineering

Experience:

• 15+ years experience in communication or computer engineering
• Good knowledge of telecom environment and systems
• Excellent general IT background
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
• Previous project management experience is advantageous
• Moderate understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript)
• Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
• Efficient communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• TOGAF certification is a plus
