Overview of the role
Responsible for planning, successfully managing, and executing on-ground related projects such as thematic decorations, exhibitions, on-ground activations and branding, thematic, community, sales-driven events, CSR events, and sponsorships with the objective of maximizing exposure and providing a suitable platform for related advertising and promotion for Cairo Festival City assets (destination, residential, commercial).
What you will do
- Create and prepare events calendar and budget, plan and coordinate the activities to coincide with important milestones of the project, the development program, and major targeted events, sponsorships, and CSR activities organized.
- Present the budget to Head of Marketing for approval, and subsequent to approval, administer it with the objective of utilizing the resources in the most effective manner.
- Continuously identify new, creative event approaches, activations, and thematic ideas in line with key marketing objectives for the Resicom marketing plan.
- Identify key initiatives that generate sales and leasing to be revenue generating.
- Responsible for the preparation, implementation, delivery, and management of events teams made up of internal staff, consultants, and external contractors for scheduled public and corporate events, community events, optimizing PR exposure and related advertising and promotion opportunities during that period.
- Responsible for generating sponsorships for events and promotions.
- Assist with the digital team to work on producing top-quality video productions for on-ground and corporate events to be used on our social platforms internally and on YouTube.
- Represent the company as the key contact with outside parties to yield maximum exposure and leverage for the company in such forums.
- Gather and maintain good external contacts with suppliers and involved companies in order to source the best opportunities for Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate.
- Work on reports to update key stakeholders on ongoing on-ground achievements in Cairo Festival City to get a better return on brand positioning and generate or push sales.
- Align Cairo Festival City with two to three key charities in line with the positioning of the corporate brand and ensure that all partners are aligned with CSR focus to achieve a holistic approach when it comes to CSR in the city.
Required skills to be successful
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in events, preferably within an agency or corporate environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Real estate background in an agency or a corporate setting.
