Job description / Role
JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
- The Assistant Operator shall provide assistance to operations as instructed by the Operator and Field Supervisor in carrying out all necessary job as required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
HSE
- Implementing HSE Policy requirements.
- Demonstrating a clear commitment to HSE policy matters.
- Keep good communication with all employees on HSE Management System matters thru memos, email, bulletin board notification, etc.
- Ensures that adequate safety precautions are taken prior to any job.
- Ensure proper reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses through the Positive Dangerous Feedback Form. Initiates investigation of all such cases.
Operations and Business Process:
- Assist the Operator in checking the equipment for any damages that might have occurred during transit.
- Assist Operator/Senior Operator to perform daily maintenance prescribed in the maintenance manual and record the same in the maintenance file.
- Assist in all equipment operations as instructed by the Operator/Supervisor
- Ensure the proper maintenance of tools, equipment and machine as per the instruction of the Operator/Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance to the agreed work/leave schedule both on base and field operations.
- Ensure that the use of all expendables, materials and supplies are not wasted and these materials and supplies are kept in a secure place and locked.
- Assist as per direct instruction the Operator/Supervisor in all operations.
- Provide all necessary support to all Service line Department.
People Learning and Development:
- Maintain a good and healthy relations among all superiors, colleagues, and subordinates.
- Ensure proper communication with all superiors at all time.
Financial:
- Adhere to all Company's financial procedures and systems.
Customer Service:
- Maintain good relationship with clients at all times.
- Ensure that all queries are addressed on a timely manner and referred to the proper individual.
Requirements:
- Reporting to: DST Operator
- Education / Qualifications: Diploma or Secondary School Certificate
- Years of Experience: 2 years or fresh graduate mechanical engineer
- Certifications / Licenses: NIL
