Join us for an exciting career opportunity in the Legal function, in the capacity of Associate Counsel Egypt. This role is based in the Cairo BU.

The main purpose of the role is to support the Business by providing legal services, including advice, counsel, research and ensures the compliance of the Company with applicable laws and policies.

Main responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and providing legal opinions in accordance with applicable laws and the Company's policies
- Draft, negotiate and review legal agreements in accordance with applicable laws and the Company's policies
- Provide company secretarial support to legal entities within the Business
- Manage external counsel
- Conduct trainings on applicable laws and as required
- Assist in compliance matters by conducting compliance investigations, preparing reports and help in conducting compliance trainings
- Effectively participate in achieving the legal function's objectives in realizing Mondelez's strategic business objectives
- Work in cross-functional and collaborative teams within the Business in support of corporate management of all local and foreign affiliates held by the holding companies
- Perform other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

- Bachelor degree in Law. Master Degree is preferable
- Registered at the Egyptian Bar Association
- Minimum of 5 years experience within an International or Multi-national Company or Law firm
- Fluency in English and Arabic (both spoken and written), French is a plus
- Proficiency in MS office.
