Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:

• Global Operations - Supply Chain is creating regional roles to manage key B2P processes & operations. These roles are to support our organization as we re-align around Global AP processes to drive operational productivity & support of future growth
• This role will act as a single point of contact for escalations relating to Legacy platforms within the META Region
• This will involve working directly with the vendors. GE Businesses and other stakeholders until the issues are resolved

Essential Responsibilities:

• Tracking and responding of queries using customer case management tool
• Following up with all relevant action owners and providing feedback on the tool
• Responding to urgent cases within 24 hours
• Educate users and suppliers on how to raise queries
• Driving the reduction of email queries by promoting the usage of the tool
• Perform Root-cause analysis of cases to avoid future recurrences
• Providing weekly visibility on open cases by action owners/team responsible
• Liaise with other B2P Teams on metrics trending and focus areas
• Liaise with other teams to aid 100% Paid on Time
• Following up on WHT Certificates with Tax teams
• Pulling proof of payments when required
• Assist in any projects regarding to work transitioning to other teams
• Reviewing and approving all the Urgent Payment Requests and CRM Tickets relating to the legacy platforms

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Degree in Finance related field
• 2 years’ experience in Buy 2 Pay
• Fluent in English
• Good communicator, building relationships with internal customers and external vendors.

Desired Characteristics:

• Willingness to drive issue resolution & manage escalations
• Basic understanding of common Buy2Pay platforms
• Organization and planning skills
• Hands on experience over Oracle based ERP.
• Technical accounting background an advantage
• Demonstrated good communications skills
