Alfanar Construction is classified as a Grade I contractor by the Contractors Classification Committee of the Government of Saudi Arabia. Alfanar Building Systems manufactures and markets a variety of building construction products and systems.

Job purpose

To ensure the successful implementation, coordination, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes within a project or organization, maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards.

Key accountability areas

• Skills: Expert knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks, BIM 360 to automate repetitive tasks in BIM workflows.
• Information management: Oversee the Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure proper storage, sharing, and updating of project information.
• Standards and compliance: Implement and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific protocol.
• Collaboration: Facilitate regular coordination meetings and provide clear communication regarding changes, updates, and expectations to project teams.
• Project delivery and performance: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of BIM-related project and track the report on BIM performance metrics, including efficiency and quality.

Role accountability

• Coordination of BIM models: Manage and integrate BIM models from various disciplines and resolution using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360.
• Accountability outcomes: Optimized BIM workflows and improved team proficiency with a focus on ensuring smooth BIM processes.
• Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes and workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
• Communication: Ensure all team members understand and follow established BIM workflows and standards.
• Model coordination: Maintain the integrity and consistency of models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Standards implementation: Enforce compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project protocols, and industry standards.
• Process optimization: Deliver high-quality, clash-free BIM models on time and optimize BIM workflows to improve team proficiency.
• Clash detection and resolution: Proven ability to perform clash detection, resolve conflicts, and optimize model integration.

Academic qualification

Diploma degree in Architectural Engineering

4 to 6 years
