Description

BTECH is currently seeking a branch accountant to join our team. As a branch accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial records and transactions for our branch. You will be responsible for bookkeeping activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Your expertise in accounting practices will support the branch in achieving its financial goals, while your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure that all financial data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Key responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for the branch, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and process monthly financial statements, reconciliation reports, and payroll.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring financial performance against budget.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including daily bank reconciliations and deposits.
  • Provide financial support and insights to branch management.

Requirements

To be successful in the role of branch accountant, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 0-1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or branch accounting environment.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
