Budgeting and Planning Manager

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• The Candidate will play a pivotal role in the budget & reporting cycle
• Be custodian of the financial planning and analysis functions
• Develop Annual Operating Revenue and Cost Budgets in a manner that is timely, aligns with corporate objectives, and drives performance and efficiencies
• Required activities include, but not limited to, soliciting and challenging departmental inputs, coordinating with other departments to ensure Budget alignment with accounting standards and policies and timelines
• Manage the Monthly Management Pack accurately and in a timely manner to HOD and GCFO Guide the preparation of Quarterly Financial Forecasts (3+9F, 6+6F, 8+4F), for Revenue and Cost line items.
• Assist HOD in all FP&A tasks, Feasibility studies and business cases forecast and projections
• Manage the preparation of monthly Cash Forecast in order to ascertain Group funding requirements and cash management purposes

Requirements

• Develop Annual Operating Revenue and Cost Budgets in a manner that is timely, aligns with corporate objectives, and drives performance and efficiencies
• Required activities include, but not limited to, soliciting and challenging departmental inputs, coordinating with other departments to ensure Budget alignment with accounting standards and policies and timelines
• Manage the Monthly Management Pack accurately and in a timely manner to HOD and GCFO Guide the preparation of Quarterly Financial Forecasts (3+9F, 6+6F, 8+4F), for Revenue and
• Cost line items.
• Assist HOD in all FP&A tasks, Feasibility studies and business cases forecast and projections
• Manage the preparation of monthly Cash Forecast in order to ascertain Group funding requirements and cash management purposes
• Professional Knowledge of Finance
• Experience in operational planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Managerial and Supervisory skills
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to deal with high volume of complex data
• Professional Preferred CMA, ACCA, CPA or MSc Finance
• +12 years relevant work experience in budgeting/business planning field.
