Job description

We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Butler to join our esteemed team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Butler in our organization, you will provide exceptional, personalized service to our discerning clientele, ensuring their every need is met with efficiency and grace.

  • Welcome and prepare for guest arrivals, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
  • Offer personalized, anticipatory service to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Manage administrative tasks, including responding to emails, preparing welcome cards, and ordering amenities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during their stay, handling requests such as wake-up calls, packing and unpacking, and special arrangements
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of local attractions, customs, and services to assist guests with inquiries
  • Uphold the highest standards of service quality in line with our organization's reputation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of work
  • Continuously seek opportunities to create memorable experiences for our guests

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury hospitality or high-end household management
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer-focused approach
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs with empathy and discretion
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • In-depth knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and the expectations of high-end clientele
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods
  • Impeccable personal grooming and presentation
  • Proficiency in using technology for guest services and administrative tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise utmost discretion
  • Hospitality management degree or butler certification preferred
  • Familiarity with Egyptian customs and culture is advantageous

Physical aspects of position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
