PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Category Planning:
• Planning and designing the Office, Station, BISS category with focus on sub-categorization and range planning with an aim to ensure full assortment coverage with full availability.
• Responsible for New suppliers and New Brands acquisition.
• Responsible for direct brand management & brand servicing.
• Devising the category plan to achieve the defined targets within the specific timeframe.
• Management of supplier and vendor networks, driving merchandizing, sales strategies and providing leadership direction to the category team.
Cross function role:
• Responsible for leveraging synergies with other SBUs.
• Responsible for ensuring cross functional support for the category.
• Responsible for category's inclusion & representation in all the new cross functional project.
Team Management:
• Overseeing the organization structure for the Category.
• Responsible for training & up skill of the team members.
Leadership:
• Responsible for showcasing strong leadership & intrapreneurial activities within the category.
Requirements
• Seeking highly qualified candidates who are strategic thinkers and execution-oriented MBA Preferred.
• Between 2-4 years of work experience in the Middle-East Office, Station, BISS Industry - Buying/Merchandizing/Planning/Business Management. This is Mandatory.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience of managing cross functional and multicultural teams.
• Candidates must be entrepreneurial, intelligent, and self-motivated professionals.
• Deep understanding of and passion for E-Commerce required.
• Previous responsibility for strategic development, product management or product marketing, revenue targets and quotas is highly desirable.
