Purpose of the job

The Chief Financial Officer manages the company’s Financial situation by observing the current capital structure and developing long-term Financial goals. This position plays an integral role in driving the success of the company by monitoring Financial performance and developing a profitable financial plan.
Accountabilities and Duties

• Oversee and review the budgets for each business department
• Oversee the budget planning along with the top management
• Analyse the Financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future
• Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other Financial transactions
• Create strategies and practices to minimise Financial risk
• Update and implement the Finance Department policies and procedures and ensure that they serve the overall strategies of Alkan CIT group
• Ensure that Alkan CIT group’s Financial systems are up to date, compliant and support current activities and future growth
• Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management policies
• Manage Alkan CIT group’s policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate
• Follow up on Alkan CIT group’s Financial position in a constant manner and act to prevent problems
• Set targets for and supervise all accounting and Finance managers
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
• Provide regular performance management for subordinates including (Feedback, Coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions).
• Oversee commercial decision making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis
• Advise and implement best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Manage the essential Procurement & Logistics processes technical & commercial -domestic & international projects
• Develop and implement strategies, policies & procedures for Procurement, Supply chain and sub-contracting activities to achieve the organizational business objectives
• Set Procurement targets with the managers and monitor their performance to deliver substantial cost savings reduction to represent a major opportunity of profit leverage effect

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• MBA Holder is preferred
• Understanding of domestic and international Tax regulations
• Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analyses
• Results oriented and metrics driven
• Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability
• Strategic thinking, planning and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with upper management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goals
