Description

Oversee and manage the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and variance explanations. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounting transactions. Review and reconcile supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments. Conduct monthly reconciliations of financial transactions. Validate and reconcile inventory and fixed asset accounts. Manage the release of employee End of Service Benefits (EOSB) and reconcile EOSB provisions. Work with department heads to gather data for budget preparation and forecasting. Ensure data collection is completed and loaded into analytical software. Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual results with budget on a monthly basis. Prepare year-end financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations. Ensure weekly bank reports generated by the ERP system are reconciled with bank statements. Prepare detailed reports for the finance management team. Monitor cost center expenses, comparing them against the budget. Validate and process online expense claims for approval. Conduct weekly petty cash counts to ensure proper management.

Requirements

• Current experience as a Chief Accountant.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics365.
• Strong background in financial accounting and public accounting (preferred).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Expertise in handling large ERP and reporting packages.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team and exhibit strong problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP Dynamics365.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in general or tax accounting.
• Reliable and punctual, with strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is required.
