Position Summary

Working cross functionally with the Dairy. Nutrition, and Coffee teams to bring their ideas to life, along with the technical team and our co-manufacturers in an efficient and compliant way, while meeting the Nestle Manufacturing Standards.

A day in the life of

- You will come into work, and engage with multifunctional Idea to Launch teams from marketing, I&R and technical to industrialize I&R ideas by working closely with all stakeholders to establish manufacturing dossier containing the recipe, specifications, shelf life, process parameters, etc.
- You will also connect with the category experts to define the type of process technology needed and the technical considerations for manufacturing.
- Following the dossier, and some coffee with colleagues within the above mentioned business units, it is now time to connect with contract manufacturers and suppliers to discuss and validate technology requirements and agree on the industrialization steps in order to meet that target timelines of the project.
- It is now time to validate the above data with the Category technical teams (Product & Packaging) for things such as operational parameters, thermal validation, packaging compliance, deployment of Nestle category manufacturing standards etc
- After lunch, you will meet with the other colleagues from regulatory, quality and CTAG to review raw & packaging material specifications, finished goods specifications, allergen matrix, p-HACCP, p-QMS, etc.
- Now, the teams in other countries are up and awake so it's time to get on calls with them to validate the machines used by our third-party manufacturers
- Later afternoon, you will spend sometimes working on updating the systems and initiating workflow for approvals.
- Wrapping up the day, you will have other calls and meetings with the culinary and confectionary team to discuss ideas they have for the future in terms of new SKU's and changes to the recipe

Requirements

What will make you successful

- Bilingual English & Arabic
- 5 years of experience within either application group (product development or Innovation & Renovation) or manufacturing or quality.
- Bachelor's Degree preferable in Food Technology, chemistry, Food/Process Engineering, etc
- Ability to travel at least once a month within the MENA market
- Food industry experience in multiple category of products
- Project management experience
- Adapted communication to all levels of management and experts Internal and External
- Ability to work in a team, and by yourself
- Transfer knowledge to other team members by coaching and training them
- Bachelor's Degree preferable in Food Technology, Chemistry, Food/Process Engineering, etc
- 5 years of experience within either application group (product development or Innovation & Renovation) or manufacturing or quality.
