Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The job has a significant contribution to the top and bottom line target's achievement through ensuring on time availability of Finished Goods and raw materials at the optimum cost

A day in the life of

- Clearance of finished goods in the shortest lead time and at the optimum costs
- Cost optimization through tariffs reduction by checking alternative sources with bilateral / preferential trade agreements
- Ensure supply through on time payment to suppliers
- Follow up on blocked & parked invoices and account management are key activities
- Improve storage and demurrage cost through networking with clearing agents, and shipping lines. Regular meetings, sharing scorecards are key activities and networking with decision makers in the Import & Export authority

Requirements

What will make you successful

- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Core knowledge of the 10 Principles and expert knowledge in our areas of responsibility
- Knowledge of Egyptian laws and Regulations governing:
- Imports
- Customs
- General information about imported finished goods and imported raw materials including:
- Material type
- Product Category
- Source
