DBA Specialist

Your expertise will help us in data modeling, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database management systems.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning for optimization.
• Develop and enforce backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to support database-related needs in software projects.
• Implement database security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Conduct regular database audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a database administrator.

Technical skills:

• Expertise in SQL and experience with multiple database systems like Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery and high availability solutions.
• Familiarity with database security policy enforcement.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
