Job purpose

Assist in developing and implementing engineering solutions for product design and testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Conduct rigorous testing and validation to guarantee product reliability and performance. Manage engineering projects from inception to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and budgets. Continuously improve product designs based on testing data to enhance quality and performance, collaborating with engineering teams and stakeholders to align design and testing goals with organizational objectives.

Key accountability areas

Engineering solutions development and implementation
Design, develop, and implement engineering solutions for product design and testing, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
Ensure the robustness of design processes to meet functional and performance requirements.

Testing and validation
Lead comprehensive testing and validation of product designs to verify reliability, functionality, and performance under real-world conditions.
Ensure rigorous adherence to quality standards and provide detailed analysis of test results to validate design integrity.

Project management and coordination
Manage and oversee product development projects from inception through to completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones, adherence to project budgets, and alignment with overall business objectives.

Continuous improvement
Conduct in-depth analysis of testing data to identify potential areas for design optimization and performance enhancement.
Implement continuous improvement processes to refine product quality, increase efficiency, and ensure long-term reliability.

Cross-functional collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment between design, testing objectives, and broader business goals.
Foster effective communication and teamwork to drive the successful execution of engineering projects.

Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Academic qualification

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or any relevant field
