Electrical Engineer

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university
• Experience working in the electrical engineering field
• Must have the ability to work logically and systematically
• Must have good time management
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Requirements

Job Description:

+7 years of experience as an electrical engineer in a consultant company or an electrical engineer in a contracting company (design & supervision), with design & supervision experience (mandatory experience).

Should be aware and capable of taking care of the following tasks:

• Prepare all electrical and low current design drawings with necessary calculations for all electrical systems in an allotted time frame with the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, etc. for the satisfaction of the client and to authority approvals
• Prepare submission drawings/packages to authority approvals
• Prepare different electrical calculations such as load schedule, single line diagram, voltage drops, lux calculation, etc.
• Should be aware of respective local authorities’ latest regulations, guidelines, international standards, etc.
• Shall be able to prepare tender documents like drawings, BOQ (with or without quantities), specifications, drawings, etc.
• Should be able to inspect the construction activities within the requested time of the contractor and to instruct the contractor as required
• Should have good knowledge about various test procedures
• Should be able to review the submittals by contractors
• Shall attend meetings with client and authority engineers as required

Fluency in English is a must as they will be dealing with suppliers all over the world.
