Overview of the role

Responsible for all the electrical equipment on the shop floor and assist the workshop coordinator in maintaining the store safe for the employees and customers.

What you will do

• Assist the interior designers as required during store remodeling or the catalogue launch planning in his particular field of expertise.
• Establish own plans and lists of materials for the work required with the Com-In Department remodeling or catalogue launch plans. Schedule and complete the decorators’ needs to meet their deadlines.
• Liaise with the Com-in Manager to determine the scope of routine maintenance required, then formulate a routine work schedule of what, when, how long to perform, and cost per item. When approved, carry out the work as required.
• Draw up a list of materials and equipment, when required, on all work to be performed.
• Select the best two or three sources for the material and equipment with their costs and provide same to the Workshop Coordinator. When approved, purchase as required to accomplish predetermined tasks.
• Assist in setting up or dismantling of store fixtures, as well as for their maintenance and repair.
• Assist in the assembly of furniture for display as required, and repair damaged merchandise when necessary.

What you will need

• Three years experience as building electrician.
• Able to do finishing carpentry, woodwork, metal work and painting, wall and floor coverings, and electrical installations.
