Charles Darwin School is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school located in Biggin Hill in the London Borough of Bromley. The school is part of Inicio Educational Trust which is made up of 4 secondary schools and 8 primary schools. We are currently seeking a dedicated teacher of English to join our dynamic English department teaching across the range from KS3 to advanced level. The post is full time although part time can be considered. Whilst the post is open from November 2025 an earlier start date can be negotiated. We reserve the right to appoint to the post prior to the closing date should a suitable candidate apply.
The KS3 co-ordinator post is available from January 2026 - TLR2A.
We are a "good" school (Ofsted 2023) with an ethos that encourages academic rigour, high expectations and a well-disciplined approach to learning.

Introduction
As a teacher of English at Charles Darwin School, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the subject of English at all key stages. This position is open to experienced teachers as well as those who are newly qualified teachers or early career teachers who are passionate about fostering a love for literature and language among young learners.

- Minimum qualification required: Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
