Job Description & Summary

As part of our Analytics and Insights Consumption team, you'll analyze data to drive useful insights for clients to address core business issues or to drive strategic outcomes. You'll use visualization, statistical and analytics models, AI/ML techniques, Modelops and other techniques to develop these insights.

Requirements

- 1- 3 years of experience in a reporting and analytics role
- Experience in reporting & analytics tools including:
- PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense, Looker, Foundry or equivalent
- SQL, PowerQuery, Alteryx or equivalent
- Excel
- Acquiring data and transforming it for reporting
- Creating calculated, restricted and derived measures, as well as understanding when to use which approach
- Creating appealing and insightful visualisations and interactive reports, filters using information design principles
- Experience in adapting your communication style to help translate complex technical information to audiences unfamiliar with the technologies
- Ability to tell a compelling story with data in written reports and deliverables for our clients
- Creating data processing workflows using the tools in the In/Out, Preparation, Join, Parse, Transform and Documentation tool categories
- Ability to learn and understand new technologies, techniques and tools
- Foundational understanding of Data & Analytics architectures, definition of KPIs / metrics and insight requirements

- Analysis of business functionality and needs; translating them into technical requirements and solution designs
- Performance optimization of BI reports
- Enhancing reports with row-level security and configuring this functionality
- Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), etc..
- Creating advanced data processing workflows in Alteryx,or equivalent with skills in the tool categories not mentioned above (e.g. Predictive, Prescriptive, Spatial, Demographic Analysis)
- Publishing of workflows to Alteryx Server and scheduling workflows, Alteryx Macros
- Working with DataBricks
- Experience with Python and / or R is preferred
- Knowledge of statistical analyses and machine learning is preferred experience with data manipulation / analysis tools to conduct analyses, derive trends and summarise themes.

Education:
- University Degree, in computer science/engineering, business analytics, information systems, statistics, mathematics or other related disciplines preferably
- Microsoft Power BI Certification is a plus
- Tableau Certification is a plus
- Celonis certification is a plus
- Alteryx certification is a plus
