Job Description & Summary

PwC is opening a new Technology & Innovation Center in Cairo that will deliver high quality technology solutions to consulting Clients across the globe. The Centre will provide a broad suite of skills and services to our clients, ranging from Packaged Applications such as SAP & Oracle, to Cloud services utilising AWS, Azure and Google, as well as expanding our existing Managed Services capabilities.

The centre is looking to expand rapidly and we are looking for enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for technology and client delivery to help shape and form this new venture.

Custom Development Front End Senior Associate SW Developer, scope overview:

- Participate in the designing and building of complex solutions for a web application
- Provide high level estimations and feasibility in early stage design conversations
- Ensure Stability and scalability of interfaces to meet future demand
- Incorporate data protection and cybersecurity measures
- Automated testing, Test driven development (TDD)
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Familiarity in using Rest services, including documentation using OpenAPI.

Requirements

Role Requirements:

- Experienced with front-end development using React technology and (HTML, CSS, Redux, etc)
- Knowledge of JavaScript, libraries, frameworks, and tech stacks
- Experience with front end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and Grunt.
- Experienced with DevOps continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling eg GIT, GitHUB, GITLab, etc. and ability to perform developer-owned Devops tasks
- Strong drive for Clean Code, Automation tools, Design improvements and Code quality (via Unit testing)
- Ability to use Asynchronous Programming to improve productivity

Experience in:

- JavaScript, Typescript
- Custom integration with Oauth2/OpenID Connect, etc.
- Familiarity with various cloud solutions (AWS - Azure - GCP)
- Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker.
- No SQL DBs like MongoDB and DynamoDB
- Gitlab, Github or any similar tool, Branching and Merging Strategies
- Azure DevOps knowledge, Jenkins, APIgee, JSON, JSF, XHTML, Tools like Kibana, new relic or similar logging and monitoring tools
- BDD, TDD. Unit Testing Frameworks (Jest), Performance testing, Component level Testing
- Linux, Frontend/UI Dev experience, Automation Testing, Devops tools
