Job Description & Summary
PwC is opening a new Technology & Innovation Center in Cairo that will deliver high quality technology solutions to consulting Clients across the globe. The Centre will provide a broad suite of skills and services to our clients, ranging from Packaged Applications such as SAP & Oracle, to Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Custom Development and Cloud services utilising AWS, Azure and Google, as well as expanding our existing Managed Services capabilities.

We are seeking to recruit a Java Full Stack Senior Associate to join our team in Cairo. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience.

The centre is looking to expand rapidly and we are looking for enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for technology and client delivery to help shape and form this new venture.

As a Senior Web Developer at PwC, you will work within the Software Development team. You will take an active part in solution design, guiding and helping to lead other developers across the team you are working in. Developing a solution with global impact for the firm your work and responsibilities will include:

- Web Portal and Web Application Development

- Focus on developing and integrating APIs

- Agile Development workflow

- Responsible for functionality and Quality of regular releases.

- Leadership and mentoring of junior developers.

- Contributing to decisions on hosting, scaling and security.


The key qualities we are looking for are analytical ability, technical creativity, grit, a desire to learn and strong communication skills.
Someone who loves learning who has contributed to an open source project and has a public repository of demonstrable work, we'll love to see what you've been up to!

Requirements

A successful candidate will have:

- Proven software web development experience.

- C# .net platform with solid understanding of web development and related packages

- .Net Core / ASP.NET Core

- SQL Server Database and caching technologies (eg PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)

- A viewable repository showing portfolio of work

- Experience in React.js

- Front end- HTML/CSS/Typescript within a React Framework utilising MobX for the data flow

- Restful APIs - designing and integrating with third-party

- Microservices - using .NET 5 Web APIs running in Docker locally, but within Kubernetes in Azure using Linux Containers

- HTML/CSS/Typescript within a React Framework utilizing MobX for the data flow

- Hands on experience implementing microservices - using .NET 5 Web APIs

- Knowledge/understanding of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and YAML scripting to create containers

- Restful APIs - designing and integrating with third-party

- Security - Oauth authentication protocols and a generally proactive security stanc


Desirable skills we look for but are not essential:

- Shell scripting

- Experience with Kubernetes in Azure using Linux Containers

- Linux / Bash scripting

- Google Cloud Platform

- Azure/AWS

- Knowledge on A/B Testing
