About the role

PwC is opening a new Technology & Innovation Center in Cairo that will deliver high quality technology solutions to consulting Clients across the globe. The Centre will provide a broad suite of skills and services to our clients, ranging from Packaged Applications such as SAP & Oracle, to Cloud services utilising AWS, Azure and Google, as well as expanding our existing Managed Services capabilities. 

The center is looking to expand rapidly and we are looking for enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for technology and client delivery to help shape and form this new venture. 

We are seeking to recruit a SAP Solution Architect to join our team in Cairo.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience in scoping, designing and overseeing the delivery of complex SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) centred, high value solutions. They will be a recognised expert in their field within the local SAP market; providing valued thought leadership and opinion.  They will carry a well established professional network, and have strong alliances into the SAP ecosystem.  

You will report to the SAP Service Delivery Director and will be an integral part of the team based in Cairo, as well as those delivering client transformation programmes across the PwC Global Network, including the UK, Germany and Middle East
As an SAP Solution Architect, you will play a key role in the following areas:

- Support the leadership and management of the new SAP Practice by taking an active role in the SAP Senior Leadership Team 
- Responsibility for coaching and developing more junior team members 
- Delivering exceptional client service and solutions 
- Work with a global mindset with teams based in the UK, Germany and other Middle Eastern Countries
- Leading delivery teams to deliver solutions that are on scope, time, quality and budget


Role Requirements:

- Min 8-10 years experience in architecting complex E2E SAP transformative solutions
- Demonstrable experience in overseeing the alignment to the solution design throughout the delivery cycle 
- Experienced and comfortable in working as part of a global team; co creating solutions with architects located outside of Egypt
- Strong working knowledge of the SAP Activate delivery methodology
- Knowledge of external architecture frameworks / principles eg TOGAF, SAF) 
- Leading expertise in a functional domain e.g. finance / logistics / supply chain / integration
- Define end state solution and design end to end processes
- Provide GAP resolutions
- Counterpart to senior functional leaders at onsite and ability to participate in design discussions with client and PwC functional team lead
- Support the functional stream lead with technical evaluation of the solution scenarios (e.g. cost-based vs. account based CO-PA) 
- Overseeing solutioning and respective functional specification in the overall transformation context
- Identification of dependencies across solutions going down to RICEFW objects 
- Managing the overall solution deliverables
- Accountable / responsible for overall data migration and cutover topics for the stream
- Accountable / responsible for overall issue resolution post go-live and transition to support
