Finance Controller

Job description / Role

Kinetic is working with a leading Medical Device company who are hiring a Finance Controller to be based in Cairo.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Ensure all functions of Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Planning and Budgeting, Management Reporting and input to the General Ledger are in line with the Company's Policies/Procedures and Statutory requirements.
- Fulfill overall responsibility of Budgets and Forecasts.
- Prepare all requested statutory and local authorities reports.
- Develop, update, and implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the required level of Internal Control.
- Provide decision support to the Site Leadership team using proper financial tools and analysis.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:
- Only Candidates currently based in Egypt will be considered.
- Professional or Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
- Minimum 7 - 10 years of solid accounting work experience. Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices/Healthcare experience is a plus.
- Should have worked in a multinational company.
- Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and IFS.
- Proven working knowledge and experience with large automated Accounting Systems (AS/400).
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures combined with a good analytical mindset and finance management.
