Description
PetroApp is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Group Head of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives and elevate our brand presence in the competitive SaaS industry. This pivotal role will involve developing and executing strategic marketing plans that align with our corporate goals and drive customer acquisition and retention.
Your role as Group Head of Marketing will encompass overseeing the entire marketing department over our 4 offices, which are located in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Thailand, and Nigeria, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring consistent branding across all platforms. You will be responsible for creating compelling content that resonates with our target audience and using data-driven insights to optimize marketing effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background mainly in B2B marketing, with fair experience in B2C marketing, particularly within the technology sector, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets and Egypt.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform marketing decisions.
- Manage all marketing activities, including digital marketing, content creation, events, and public relations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment in messaging and branding.
- Oversee budget management and allocation for marketing initiatives.
- Track and report on key performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful B2B and B2C marketing strategies.
- Extensive experience in developing and establishing the company's brand identity.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategies.
- Creativity and a passion for storytelling through content.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate.
- Experience in the Saudi Arabian market is essential.
