Head of Technical Department

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading service provider in hospitality based in KSA. They are currently seeking for Head of Technical Section in Cairo, Egypt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the serviceability and standards of the in flight kitchen facilities & equipment and vehicle fleet. Also, ensure the systems and housekeeping procedures are fully implemented and achieving hygiene or sanitary of ISO/HACCP standards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Establishing and following up on sections goals, objectives and action plans.
- Ensure and monitors the adherence of general personal and industrial safety practices in the work shop and working areas.
- Review standard justifications for proposed equipment or vehicle replacement and submit required reports.
- Direct the maintenance team for achieving 100% serviceability and preparation of technical and evaluation reports pertaining facilities, equipment and vehicles.
- Overall observant of all daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping, cleaning and sanitization activities done during the shift and ensure that all jobs are carried out efficiently according to the highest standard and conform to QC requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree
- Quality management courses minimum 10 years experience in facility and vehicle maintenance excellent communication skills
- Able to read, review and interpret technical documents as per drawing, records and reports driving license
