Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our team in the beautiful resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our employees, guests, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across all areas of operation.
• Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Design and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
• Manage emergency response planning and coordinate drills.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety initiatives through data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
• Stay updated on Egyptian labor laws, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Provide expert guidance to management on health and safety matters.
• Cultivate a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent is a plus.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
• In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful safety programs.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in risk assessment and management.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing safety teams.
• Familiarity with Egyptian labor laws and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Native Arabic speaker and fluency in English language skills are highly desirable.
