HR Services Lead Egypt-Sudan & Knowledge Management Lead NAME- North Africa & Middle East

Job purpose:

In the role of ''HR Services Lead Egypt-Sudan & Knowledge Management Lead NAME - North Africa & Middle East " you will contribute towards the achievement of the HR agenda by providing professional and efficient HR services through the consistent application of HR policy, process and practices in Egypt & Sudan via using new technologies and tools.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Ensures that local HR policy and procedures are aligned with the local Labour Law and legislative requirements
• Ensures that global HR processes are applied in the country consistently across different sites / functions
• Acts as the owner and gate keeper for all "Key Employee Moments" (employee life cycle management) in the country and responsible from consistent delivery of the core HR processes through the HR Services team
• Understands the fundamentals of employee relations and how this links with employee engagement - Proactively looks for ways to improve the level of employees' engagement via achieving "positive employee experience" in all Key Employee Moments
• Acts as a first point of contact for HR Services Manager NAME when managing daily services agenda on Core HR processes and is accountable from SLA delivery by the country team
• Leads and manages the team of "People Experience Leads" and PRO's (Public Relations Officer) in Egypt
• Responsible for building own team's capabilities and skills
• Leads the team of "Data Specialists" based in Egypt and works very closely with the NAME Data Controller to ensure that the practices and tools for Data Management are used effectively and data is maintained accurately by the Data Specialists
• Supports HR Services Manager NAME on global / regional HR Services initiatives and is responsible from landing global HR Services projects in Egypt & Sudan
• Supports and partners with Country HR Director for Egypt-Sudan on HR projects / initiatives that require HR Services expertise and involvement
• Works closely with the country Payroll team on HR processes / policies that impact Payroll
• Trains and advises wider HR team when there is a change in terms of labour law / legislations that would impact local policies and practices, in collaboration with Legal team
• Responsible for managing the relationships with Labour office, social insurance and handling communication on employee data changes to pension plan and life insurance providers
• Responsible for Contingent Labour data and life cycle management in Egypt-Sudan
• Leads "Knowledge Management" agenda across NAME through utilization of new tools and technologies in HR (i.e. UNA Hub / Bot) and works very closely with HR Services Manager on change management initiatives to land new ways of working in this space

Requirements

Qualifications & Preferences:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 7+ years of relevant experience in HR within a matrix organization
• Experience on team management is preferable
• Sound knowledge of employment laws and practices in Egypt
• Strong analytical skills
• Collaborative team player
• Genuine interest in new technologies and tools, and tech savvy
• Has a passion for providing world class HR services and has "customer care mindset"
• Strong organisation skills as well as attention to detail and diligence
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and interfaces; strong partnering and communication skills
