About the job

JOB PURPOSE:

The HRIS/Payroll Manager will support and maintain specialized and internal HR systems, services, and applications used in organizations with customized or specialized needs.
As well as oversee and supervise the organizations payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

HRIS
- Implement and oversee the daily operation of our HR Information Systems
- Maintain optimal function of the organizations internal HR information services systems, which may include database management, customization, development, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
- Install, implements, modifies, and upgrades software and applications to meet changing business and technology.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR employees.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify needed improvements and enhancements to information services and databases; recommends and implements solutions.
- Design manuals and document data processing procedures
- Generate ad-hoc reports (for example, reports on turnover, hiring costs and benefits)
- Payroll
- Perform payroll procedures, ensuring that all data related to monthly salary calculations are entered correctly (days off, unpaid leave, sick leave etc.)
- Implement, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
- Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, and retention activities, including an understanding of compensation and benefits and development activity.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSc of Business Administration or in Human Resources Management
- HR diploma is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE:
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
- Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SAGA) and MS Office (especially Excel)

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 15 years' experience as an HRIS Manager or similar role in a multi-national environment.
- Experience in HR projects and significant business expansion in terms of headcount.
- Hands-on experience with HR database administration
- Fluency in English is a must with Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
