Job Description
- Ensure that HSE standards are maintained and promote a positive HSE attitude amongst project staff.
- Develop and manage the implementation of Company's Management systems procedures and HSE programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulation & programs at work places in relevant areas.
- Advice and provide guidance, consultation and coaching to managers and employees during running the business activities to maintain safe working environment.
- Lead over-all HSE management systems of the company which includes ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Ensure that GS operation activities are carried out in compliance with GS HSE policies, procedures, and practices, of all sites and countries.
- Ensure that all applicable HSE KPI and external reporting requirements (to the local authorities) are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in carrying out project's risk and impact assessments
- Measure HSE compliance for critical projects
- Travel, visit and review on-site and off-site areas of operations for compliance with HSE requirements.
- Audit and inspect projects and premises against company HSE requirements.
- Investigate safety observations, incidents and non-conformities and work with management to find out remedial actions.
- Maintain HSE management systems and programs records.
- Manage the HSE training program as required by GS requirements and local laws and regulations.
- Conduct HSE awareness sessions and toolbox talks as required

- Number of supporting visits to the projects

Requirements:
Technical Skills
- Exposure to ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 - NEBOSH IGC certified.
- Familiar with country related HSE Laws and Legislations.
- Knowledge of International Standard (OSHA - NFPA -etc...) is preferable.
- Member of at least one of the following: ASSP, NFPA or IOSH. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and using online based applications.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel inside and outside Egypt up to 60% as per business need
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
