Role Summary:

Offers the opportunity as an experienced "HSE Manager" to join the team in Cairo, Egypt.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Integrate the BHGE Safety Culture of HSE ownership throughout areas of responsibilities
- Lead the roll out of HSE programs and procedures at a country level
- Lead and conducted varies HSE audits and inspections both at facility/job site location
- Promote BHGE Safety Culture to all customers through varies HSE initiatives and engagement
- Assists in responding to inquiries or complaints from clients and regulatory agencies
- May assist management to develop procedures based on regulatory and/or client requirement
- Support Operations/Facilities Management with incident investigation, correct action plans and follow-up initiatives
- Provide required assistance to Commercial teams with tenders response
- Follow up on Regulatory audits, requirements and action items to ensure BHGE compliance with local legislation and regulations
- Act as SME for HSE issues by providing input to Country Operation Leaders
- Advise managers on local HSE training requirements and deliver training when regulatory or technical expertise is required
- Monitor HSE performance and provide advice to sustain the HSE culture and continuously improve performance
- Provide required support on environmental relates aspects such as waste minimization options to effectively reduce or eliminate waste streams
- Mentor Operations Management teams to drive HSE ownership and ensure a safety and compliance mindset
- Coordinates and executes environmental and/or safety programs to ensure practical, cost-effective measures are in place within the workplace, and a Safety Culture exists to ensure employees are accountable and responsible for health, safety and environmental conditions and practices
- Help with development of local HSE team members as required
- Handles special projects, as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
- Min. 8+ years' experience including 3 years in similar position
- Full HSE Certification is required.

- Ability to effectively interact withal levels of management.
