HSE Manager - Engineering Degree - Construction

Job description / Role

Required to join an international Engineering design and project management consultancy working on a number of building and civil engineering projects in Egypt and North Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of HSE during the Design phase of the project hence knowledge and experience of the application of HSE engineering to major projects coupled with well-developed assessment and analysis skills is essential

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria
• A degree in engineering (structural, civil, mechanical etc) is essential
• Able to manage and assure compliance to project related Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements consistent with best practice including ISO 18001, 14001, 27001 and 31000.
• A proven track record of working in HSE on the design phase of a project
• Health & Safety, security and environmental management
• NEBOSH or similar
• Member of professional institute
• Fluent in spoken and written English
