Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Hybrid Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' data center infrastructure, including branch offices and edge locations.
• Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in both centralized and distributed environments.

• Create comprehensive data center transformation strategies and roadmaps, aligning with clients' business goals.
• Design solutions incorporating the latest technologies, industry best practices, and scalability for diverse environments.

• Utilize industry best practices and reference architectures to design efficient and scalable solutions for centralized and distributed architectures.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data center transformation and edge computing.

• Advise on the design and implementation of private cloud environments, considering security, compliance, and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful deployment of hybrid cloud solutions.

• Integrate sustainability considerations into data center transformation plans for both centralized and distributed environments.
• Advocate for green technologies and energy-efficient practices in data centers and edge locations.

• Provide expert advice to clients on data center transformation, private cloud implementation, and technology strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to address concerns and provide innovative solutions for hybrid cloud strategies.

• Develop detailed business cases for data center transformation projects, covering both centralized and edge environments.
• Collaborate with financial analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial models.

• Engage in presales activities, including presentations, workshops, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and contribute to compelling proposals for hybrid cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 12-18 years of proven experience as a data center transformation architect or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of data center technologies (in any of the following streams), cloud solutions, and emerging trends with operational and service delivery experience:
• Hybrid Cloud: SDDC, HCI, AWS & Azure Solutions
• Public Cloud Adoption: Assessment, Foundation & Migration
• SDI Platform: VxRail, Nutanix, Hyperflex, vSAN, NSX
• Converged Platform: Synergy, VxBlock, Flexpod Solutions
• Migration Solutions – Cloud Natives, Storage based Replication, Zerto, Platespin
• Compute Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, Acropolis
• Backup Solutions - Rubrik, Cohesity, Commvault, Networker, Spectrum
• Hybrid Storage Arrays: Dell-EMC, HPE, Nimble, Pure & IBM
• Storage Virtualization & Fabric: VPLEX, SVC, Cisco & Brocade Switching
• DRaaS Solutions - VMware SRM, IBM CRO & Zerto
• Middleware - IIS, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, etc.
• Remote monitoring and management tools (Tivoli, BMC, HPOV, CA Spectrum, etc.)
• Automation - UiPath, Ansible, Jenkins, Microfocus
• ITSM - ServiceNow, Remedy
• Proven track record of having done customer-facing solutions.
• Capable of independent thinking, articulating, and comprehending customer pain points in technology and commercial areas to provide effective solutions.
• Team player and self-motivated.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong communication skills to listen to clients and articulate responses clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the board level.
