Job description / Role
Role Summary:
Statutory Controllership Analyst to be responsible for indirect tax compliance and accounting within the region in addition to supporting the leadership with tax strategies and best practices to mitigate future tax risks.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of withholding tax and VAT filings in META.
- Ensure obtaining proper documentation for international tax purposes.
- Ensure correct application of international tax treaties along with TP.
- Ensure timely payment and submission of all tax returns.
- Handle and communicate with Tax advisors across META region.
- Work with other finance and business functions to increase automation of the compliance process and returns.
- Support business and other finance functions with guidance and participate in system projects.
- Responsible for tax planning and tax payment forecast.
- Responsible for running and reconciling tax balance sheet accounts.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of tax experience in big four or multinational companies.
- Strong controllership analytical skills - able to link financial results to operational performance drives
- English fluency.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Good knowledge of tax accounting.
