Employment: Full Time

The infrastructure & OPS head is responsible for Defining the infrastructure strategy required to support a highly successful and growing business.

By determining current and future enterprise infrastructure needs. Oversees the design and implementation of information systems that support the enterprise infrastructure

The infrastructure & OPS head is required to take overall responsibility for the design, deployment and support of all infrastructure platform including network , network based services, technology operations , platform services, data management services, client device services, telecommunications services, IT security services, backup/disaster recovery services.

- Defines the infrastructure strategy required to support a highly successful and growing business.
- Evaluates technology service offerings and define the interim and long-term infrastructure roadmap
- Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding new technologies, tools and techniques that would benefit the organization
- Leads the development of technology standards and technology architecture.
- Ensuring the proper deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, client devices, desktop/laptops, hardware, software, operating systems and distributed printers to meet the business needs
- Ensuring infrastructure architecture requirements and risks associated with proposed technology solutions are properly evaluated.
- Ensuring the deployment of user management, system and network security, network administration, backup management and disaster recovery activities.
- Leads staff and consultants in establishing and resolving infrastructure priorities, managing resources and directing toward a common goal. Responsible for coaching and development of staff under direct supervision
- Evaluating, implementing and ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of client’s information and technology services.
- Executes against proposed roadmap.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or IT equivalent degree
- At least 15 years providing support in a mixed platform and service focused environment.
- Experience of managing client and supplier relationships.
- Proven task manager.
- Experience of team leading and coaching.
- Experience of communicating with Senior Management.
- A good understanding of the IT systems in place in various areas within the banking sector

Job specific Skills:
- Broad knowledge of IT Service Management and Control Techniques (ITIL - Service Management essentials).
- Knowledge of third party relationship management.
- An understanding of other data communication and document processing technologies and systems
- People Management and Supervision skills.
- Good business awareness to complement the technical skills and customer service orientation
- A good understanding of the IT systems in place in various areas within the bank.
- A general understanding of branch operations.
- A good understanding of the Bank’s Performance Management Techniques.
- A detailed understanding of the Bank’s main accounting systems, controls and security guidelines.
- A good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements relating to IT.
- A complete understanding for all of the infrastructure components
- An understanding and knowledge in various telecom equipment
- Ability to identify, clarifies, and resolves issues and risks, escalating them as needed
- Ability to multi-task well and prioritize accordingly
- Security Policies implementation and maintenance knowledge
- Active Directory implementation and maintenance knowledge
