Job description / Role
Role Purpose :
Execute and operate all Data center operations activities over 24/7 shift base covering Datawarehouse and Billing cycles generation and backup , housekeeping and monitoring activities for all Vodafone Egypt systems hosted in the Vodafone Egypt datacenter .

- Data Center Experience, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Independence, Productivity, Confidentiality, Documentation Skills, Problem Solving Positive service attitude.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Maintains the quality criteria of the processes adopted by the service.
- Monitor and reports the Datacenter activities and performance status 24/7 as L1 .
- Develops the lessons learned and make sure that the service delivery is up to quality requirements and trigger the process improvements.
- Handles service quality escalations for the activities in scope of the service to L2 support teams .
- Ensures that the knowledge base is up to date.
- Receiving and cascading the knowledge to the team members.
Requirements:
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- B.Sc. in Computer or Communication Engineering or Computer Science is a plus (not mandatory)
- 1/3 year IT experience (Familiar with Technical support field)
- Excellent written and spoken English is a must.
- OS intermediate level of knowledge (Linux & Win )
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Different Operating Systems Knowledge (Microsoft , Unix / Linux, etc)
- Sell scripting knowledge is a plus
- ITIL knowledge is a must.
- Experience using different analytics & reporting tools
- Identification of coherences between individual messages of systems and customers
