Insights & Analytics Lead MENAP (Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan)

Join us for an exciting career opportunity in the Strategy, Insights, & Analytics function, in the capacity of Insights & Analytics Lead MENAP, based in the Cairo Festival City Business Unit.

The main purpose of the role is to drive the learning agenda and shape the strategy for our portfolio in MENAP (Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan) BU. The Insights & Analytics Lead is a key member of the Leadership team.

Main responsibilities:

- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that strategies and plans are based on sound consumer/ market understanding
- Anticipate business and insights needs
- Understand the big picture but also the nuances of the business and the research
- Able to cut through data clutter & deliver unique insights (versed in primary & secondary research)
- Identify new and innovative custom research techniques to help identify emerging consumer trends
- Develop relationships with agencies to perfect the research tools in place and/or create new ones that will bring more foresight to the organization
- Story telling: Integrate data from multiple sources (primary, secondary, & syndicated) to drive foresight & strategy

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Business, Mathematics, Sociology, Anthropology)
- 10 years of Insights and/or Analytics experience. Preferably with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
- Experience across a broad range of market research and analytical techniques such as:
- Shopper based market structures
- Consumer segmentations
- Data/ insights mining with syndicated tools (Nielsen/ IRI, POS and Household panel) (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and a solid grounding in translating data into actionable insights
- Analytics experience is highly desirable
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Open minded, flexible, autonomous, and capable of leading cross-functional discussions
